Terms of Use

These terms apply to Talk with Croco ("the app"), made by 33WEB SOFTWARE LTDA ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

What Croco is

Croco is an AI character for practising spoken English. It is not a human teacher, not a certified course and does not award certificates. Like any AI, it can misunderstand you or make mistakes, including in its corrections and translations.

Free trial and subscriptions

• New users get a short free call. After that, calls need a subscription (Croco Pro).
• Subscriptions are sold through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your store account.
• If a plan offers a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before. Any unused part of a trial is lost when you buy a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Croco Pro includes up to 300 minutes of calls per calendar month (UTC). Unused minutes don't roll over. During a free trial, calls are limited to 15 minutes per day.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app to break the law, to harass anyone, to try to make the AI produce harmful content, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer our servers. We may suspend access if you do.

Your data

How we handle your voice and data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Croco available, but calls depend on your internet connection and on third-party services, and the app may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Contact: victor@33web.dev.
